August 31 was a fun show at Mission Synths in San Francisco. With live visuals by Fetz A/V, we celebrated the five year anniversary of Piqued: a platform for electronic music makers and enthusiasts.
On the bill was:
- ANI (me!)
- CYRNAI and Steve Bryson
- Shipwreck Detective
I did a live set of electronic live looping using an upcoming version of ANILOG:
The iPad Air is running ANILOG and has a USB-C dock attached: it receives USB-A from a Korg Taktile 49 MIDI keyboard controller, and it sends stereo audio out to a Korg KAOSS Pad (KP3). The KP3’s output went ot the house mixer.
ANILOG is now capable of looping the current pattern, and has shortcut track mute/unmute. This means you can compose a set with songs on each pattern and quickly turn on/off percussion, bass, and other tracks. ANILOG also has a new step record during playback mode.
Get ANILOG on the Apple app store:
